Paper crafts for Halloween: Paint Store Pumpkins {fun craft w tutorial!}
I love paint chip projects – who doesn’t? But yesterday, I had a thought – how about making a 3D pumpkin from paint chips? And, easy as that, my first little pumpkin patch of the season was born…
And I’m sharing with you just how easy it is! All you need it: paint chips in your colors of choice, wooden skewers (like you use for kabobs), one rubber band, hot blue, scissors, one-hole punch, and embellishments like burlap, ribbon etc if desired. Here’s a brief tutorial:
This activity would be lots of fun to do with kids as well, as long as the hot gluing was handled by an adult. One of my sons also commented that these structures would also make cool Christmas tree ornaments!
One of the best parts is that you get to make pumpkins to go with YOUR autumn color scheme! For some reason, I’m not feeling the orange so much this year. Leaning more toward the colors sprouting above :)
